Full Day Magic Of London Sightseeing Tour
St. Paul’s Cathedral
The next stop will be St. Paul’s Cathedral where you will see highlights of a visit to Wren’s masterpiece where Princess Diana was married. You will visit the tombs of Nelson and Wellington and testing the unique acoustics of the Whispering Gallery, not normally visited by tour groups.
(NOTE – On Sundays, when viewing is restricted, there will be opportunity to enter and enjoy one of the services).
The tour then ends in style as we drive through Westminster approaching your final stop Afternoon Tea at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel overlooking Big Ben and Houses of Parliament. Read more.
Buckingham Palace & Change of Guards
We then head to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony and see the guards dressed in their world famous tunics and busbies. If the Guard Change is not taking place, we still see the Horse guards parade.
The Tower of London – Private Tour
The tour begins with a panoramic coach drive of London passing some of the most famous landmarks such as Big Ben, Houses of parliament and the London Eye as we approach our first stop which is the Tower of London. We enter the Tower before it opens to the public, guided by our very own Beefeater. Here you will see Traitors Gate where famous prisoners entered the Tower for the last time and the scaffold site where the executions took place. You will also be the first group to see the precious Crown Jewels before enjoying free time to explore the Tower further.
Extended boat trip on the River Thames with Champagne Afternoon Tea
You will experience a one hour cruise on the River Thames where you will indulge in the epitome of British tradition. Afternoon tea with a glass of Champagne; the most elegant way to enjoy an afternoon on the River.
Afternoon tea includes sandwiches, a scone, clotted cream, jam and tea or coffee plus a glass of Bubbly. Combine this treat with the chance to sail through Tower Bridge and you have a London experience that cannot be missed!
